Your whole timetable, built in minutes.
Timez takes your students, staff, rooms and subject choices and builds a clash-free weekly timetable for your school or college automatically. Then it shows you exactly how well it works.
Timetabling shouldn't take all summer.
Building a timetable by hand means weeks of juggling option blocks, staff availability and room bookings. One late change, like a new member of staff or an extra class, can undo days of work.
Timez does the juggling for you. It handles the thousands of interlocking constraints, so you can spend your time on the decisions only you can make.
How it works
- 1
Upload your data
Export students, staff, rooms, subjects, enrolments and staff availability from your MIS as CSV files, then drop them in.
- 2
Set your rules
Choose your school day, lesson length, maximum class size, lunch arrangements and how many days a week students attend.
- 3
Generate
Timez searches through the possible combinations and returns a complete timetable within the time limit you set.
- 4
Review and refine
Check the analytics, open any student's or teacher's week, and run it again with different settings to compare.
Rules it never breaks
Every timetable Timez produces meets these, every time. If they can't all be met with the staff and rooms you have, it tells you instead of handing you something broken.
- No teacher is ever in two places at once
- No room is ever double-booked
- No student is ever timetabled into two lessons at once
- Every class has a teacher qualified to teach it
- Every class fits in its room
- Staff unavailability is always respected
- Every lesson finishes within the school day
Goals it works towards
Within those rules, it looks for the timetable that works best for the people living in it.
- Fewer stranded free periods
- Students spend less time waiting around between lessons.
- Tighter teacher days
- Fewer gaps in each teacher's day, so their time goes on teaching.
- Compact weeks
- Part-time and college learners come in on fewer days.
- Staggered lunch
- Lunch breaks spread out so canteens and corridors don't jam.
See how well it works, not just that it works.
Every timetable comes with the numbers you need to check it, explain it and improve it.

Questions
What data do I need to get started?
Six CSV files: students, teachers, rooms, subjects, student enrolments and staff availability. Most school and college management information systems can export these directly.
Does it work with our MIS?
If your MIS can export to CSV, it works with Timez. There's nothing to install and no integration project to run.
How long does it take to build a timetable?
You set the time limit, from 10 seconds to 5 minutes. Most timetables are ready within a minute or two, and you can watch progress as it runs.
What happens if a timetable isn't possible?
Timez tells you the rules can't all be met with the staff and rooms you have. You can then relax a rule, add capacity or adjust availability and run it again.
Can we try different scenarios?
Yes. Each project keeps its own data and settings, so you can compare different class sizes, lunch arrangements or staffing plans side by side.
Who builds Timez?
Timez is built by Anteam, who build industrial AI and optimisation systems for logistics, energy and manufacturing.
